The "Sacred Heart Catholic Church" is located on the uphill side of the Akoni Pule Highway (route. 270) just past the 21 mile road marker and just before you enter Hawi Town. There is a sign for the church on the corner where you need to take a right hand turn and follow the small road up. The Catholic cemetery runs alongside the back of the social hall and down towards the church. Do not confuse the Catholic with the adjacent "Hawi County Cemetery." The two cemeteries are separated by a strip of grass and some metal roadway markers with reflectors. A cemetery listing, giving vital statistics and plot numbers, can be found on the left hand side of the social hall / small parking lot.
