Preface by Janet (Good) Colligan The three contiguous parcels of the Pulaski Presbyterian and Community Cemetery lie on 4.46 acres on the southern edge of Pulaski, bounded by the Tippecanoe River, SR 119 and CR 610 in Indian Creek Twp. The 1.52 acres of the Old Cemetery, on the SW corner of Section 9, were part of settler John M. Reed's homestead before he sold his burial ground to Samuel Good. The first known interment was John Leonard Widner, War of 1812 Veteran, d. Dec. 9, 1838. The Middle (Old) Section's rows go from West to East; whereas the grave sites go from South to North. The adjacent 1.8 acres of the West (1912) Addition in Section 17 were part of Jonas F. Good's homestead, which was sold to the St. Peter's German Reformed Church in 1866, as was the Old Cemetery some other time. The St. Peter's congregation became Pulaski Presbyterians in 1890, retaining ownership of the two-part cemetery for 127 years, as well as adding the 1.14 acres of the East (1986) Addition in Section 9 on the NE edge of the Old Cemetery.
