An information packet is in a box hanging on the gate at the south end of the cemetery. The following information is from that packet: A survey of the cemetery was taken sometime between 1995 and 2018. At that time, there were 114 identifiable graves in the cemetery. The town of Placerville moved to its current location after the flood of 1909 forced residents to reconsider where the town was. The town plat was surveyed in 1909 (San Miguel County Courthouse, County Clerk's Office), and the cemetery was allocated as a burial ground at this time in Block 6. The cemetery is currently in the same locations and, based on the grave dates, is still in use. The cemetery was completely photographed on July 12, 2018.
