The cemetery is located in Kukuihaele, a small village about 9 miles west of Honoka`a Town. From Honoka`a's main street, take Rte. 240 east for about 8 miles, then take the Kukuihaele turn-off to the right. Follow the old Kukuihaele road for about a mile. Look for a large banyan tree covering what's left of the old church structure to the left just before Mud Lane. The church itself was built by Father Lorenzo Lyons of the Imiola Church, and at some point ended its affiliation with Imiola. It was abandoned around 1950. There are many burials outlined by stones, but without other markers.
